Crashing DD-WRT

Thursday, January 19th, 2012

A note to myself for the next time I re-install Linux on my laptop. When I crash out DD-WRT due to the driver on the intel wireless card, do the following: echo “options iwlagn 11n_disable=1″ > /etc/modprobe.d/iwlagn.conf modprobe -rf iwlagn modprobe -v iwlagn Taken from this thread: http://forum.pinguyos.com/Thread-Ubuntu-Intel-Wireless-Driver-Crashes-DD-WRT

Happy Thanksgiving (to those in the U.S.)! This is the current BETA release of the CyanogenMod 6.1 port for the G Tablet. There are still several issues, but it is far enough along that I use it as my daily system. Please review issues and post new ones as needed at the Issues page linked below. [...]

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

My father’s phone continued to have issues with the last hybrid SM2.0.3/DM1.0 build that I posted here.  After having him run for a while on a limited kernel that I compiled, I finally updated him to a newer kernel that I made. This new build is hybrid build of DroidMod and my own custom kernel. [...]

DroidMod 1.0 Boot-Loop Workaround

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

It seems that a percentage of Droid phones are having a problem updating to the latest version of DroidMod (formally SholesMod). The current consensus is that this problem is stemming from a difference in how some of the Droids are handling different clock rates, and the fact that the newest builds are defaulting to an [...]

Out of the country – how to reach me

Saturday, January 3rd, 2009

I’ll be in Aberdeen, Scotland (or on a plane in-between) from Saturday afternoon (January 3rd, 2009) till Sunday evening (January 11th, 2009). In the effort of maintaining my geek status, I’m attempting to make this a fairly wired trip (partially thanks to my Android Dev Phone 1). Theoretically, you should be able to reach me [...]
