I have officially put down money to reserve a Smart Car from Zap. Putting down the money doesn’t promise that I will get a car, and it is a minumum of 3-6 month wait, but the money is fully refundable – and I want one 
Why?

- 60 hp, 3-cylinder, rear-mounted turbo engine
- automatic or manual mode selectable
- Exchangeable Body Panels
And you can fit 3 of them side by side in a parking space since the length of the car is the normal width of a regular vehicle
Only a 2 seater, but prices starting at $16,000 in the states, going up to $23,000 for a fully loaded convertable.
Hehe… this coule be fun… hope I get one!

Plus when you get it we can drive places seperately and you can park in the bed of my truck.

Haha! that’s a great idea G. The steel cage for the cabin makes it weigh in at 1,500 pounds though.
Weez – I’ll keep you posted. Last I heard, they are shooting for 2006 to release the SUV version.
