Erie Linux Users Group
I do all this work on another site, and then I forget to cross link it back here so that people actually know about it
As some of you may have heard, I have taken the lead of the Erie Linux Users Group (ErieLUG). It was created some time ago, but participation has fallen back to pretty much zero in the last couple of months (before I even got a chance to know about it
).
So – now it’s back, and with any luck will be better than ever. I have created and launched a blog style website for it as well as an open forum and IRC channel in addition to the mailing list that already existed. If you have any interest at all in Linux or Open Source, you should come check it out. You don’t have to be an Erie resident to have some fun discussions or learn/teach a thing or two in the forums. There isn’t an official meeting scheduled yet, but those decisions should be made sometime in the near future. For now, I’m doing my best to grow the community and help get things started. So, swing on by the forums or pop your head in at the IRC channel and talk with a few geeks
